I just finished my annual detail job on my truck. Just thought I would pass on a couple of tips that work for me on cleaning the interior.
First of all take the seats out. Just unplug the power seat connection and there are a total of 12 nuts and screws. Four on the center consol (remove it first) and four on each seat. They are a lot easier to clean if they are out of the truck and the carpet is a LOT easier to clean.
The best carpet cleaner I've found is Woolite Heavy Traffic. It beats anything I have ever used from an auto store. Coffee and Coke stains come right out. If there are any bad grease stains, use Goop hand cleaner on them before using the carpet cleaner. Other hand cleaners don't seem to do this job very well.
The heater/AC vents in the dash will pry out with a small screwdriver. Pry the verticle ones from the top. The horizontal ones above the glove box need to be pryed out from the sides toward the middle. Each one of these vents has a longer tab on the side opposite the side you pry. With the vents out you can clean the ducts easy. I use a bottle brush with a shop rag wrapped around it.
If anyone else has some tips on how to make this job easier I would like to hear them.
I hope this helps someone.
