2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission interior question out of left field

If someone had say a 94 regular cab and they wanted to take the dash and all the interior out and put the interior from say a 01 regular cab in there would it fit? More importantly has anyone done it?

I just put a 99 half ton interior into my 98 12 valve truck.

same interior package though. I am looking at taking the different style dash and what not out of a truck like yours and putting it in mine. wait, let me update my sig so no one gets confused
