Hey Everyone,

Check out my website for pics of the restoration project I'm doing on my truck. So far so good but I have two big issues that I need to solve and was hoping for some advice.

First the plastic trim that holds the carpet down on both the drivers side and passenger side doors is pretty worn out and I was hoping I could replace it. I've checked the dealer, tdr search, ebay and craigslist for parts but no luck yet. Any ideas?

Second, my windshield has leaked over the years and some rust developed under the carpet at the driver side door. One hole has rusted through at one of the trim screw locations. I can fix this I think but any pointers would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi Vic, thanks for the compliments. Leatherseats.com provides an excellent product. The fit is excellent but I could have definitely used an extra inch or two of leather for the center console.

Here's a pic for those of you that haven't gone to my site.

SFPADGETT, I actually got a dash cover from LMC to go over the cracked dash but was unable to find the trim pieces I needed. I'll give it another look though.

Thanks!

Getting there and almost done. New seat covers, carpet and radio. It looks good and smells even better! I hope to put the dash cover on soon but big time pollen hit here in NC so I was unable to paint it this past weekend.

I decided to clean the trim I already had and it cleaned up pretty good!
