Interior Space between 2nd and 3rd Gen

Does anyone know if the 3rd Gen Quad Cabs had more space than the 2nd Gen Extended Cabs?

A few inches

I would say it is only a few inches. I went from an '02 to my current truck just because i want 4 doors. There is not much more room compared to the 2nd gens, especially with the rear seats folded down. Just my 2 cents of knowledge.

There might be a little more leg room but the seats are much better and it is easier to get in because of the regular style door.

When we bought our 06 Mega, we had a 97 extended cab. We looked at a quadcab because of the 8' bed. While it was easier to get in (my 97 had no back doors), it wasn't too much bigger for legs. We closed the door and got the Mega. The only regret, and it's not too often, is not having the 8' bed.
