Interior trim pieces - any alternatives to the *******?

Just went down the local stealership and they want $70. 00 for the pair of aluminum door sills!



They also want $10. 50 for each of the little clips that hold the door panel to the door. The door clips are identical to the Ford ones that you can buy at Advance Auto in an 8 pack for $3. 99.



Any alternatives or non-robber dealerships out there?

I could never get all my door panel clips to latch properly. I got some stainless screws and collar washers and placed them about the same spots that the clips are. It's easier for me.



Don't know about the sill plate. Someone else was looking for those a while back. Can't remember who... . but then, I can't remember much of anything anymore. What was I talking about???

I think I'm just gonna get them powder coated a light silver color. Should still be less than $70.
