The woodgrain trim strip above the armrest on my passenger door "just fell off. " Really. My always helpful, 5-star dealer tells me the only way I can get the strip is to buy the "Interior Woodgrain Kit"; rough price is $300. 00. OUCH!

I know the salvage yard drill, but does anyone out there know of another source for trim parts? If not, I guess I'll be taking the door panel off and working from behind. Either that or some Grade 8 duct tape.

Thanks for allowing me to vent; I feel all warm and fuzzy now.

The only other place I have seen a set is the one at Genos garage. they have a composite set that is $169. that is the one piece for the dash and the left and right doors.

other than that, more money for kits:(

I would like to have a wood kit but I can't see spending money to get one though. When I see a truck with a nice wood kit and not an overkill It almost makes me change my mind and get one.
