Intermediate Shaft?

I did a search, but I didn't find much about the intermediate shaft. What kind of hp and abuse is it good for until a billet one is recommended?

It seems that boosted launches while drag racing, above 450hp, seems to be when they break. It is not very common, but they do break. They normally only break if you already have a billet input and output shaft, because they will go first.

Opie lives about 10 miles from my house. Opies builds a great product and he pushed the limits of the input and output shaft.

Well I have all three billet shafts in the transmission and now I need a billet flexplate based on other posts I have read lately.
