I managed to hook the wiring going to the AC compressor in a cornfield earlier this summer, and since then it has operated intermittently. If I crawl under and wiggle the wires the compressor clutch will lock back up and the AC will work. I got tired of that, so last night I pulled the inner wheelwell liner out so I really get at the compressor - there was definately something loose or broken in the wiring at the connector, so I cut it out and spliced the wires together. The only problem is, I forgot to check which wire was attached to which wire. (There are 2 wires going to the compressor. ) I tested them and the compressor locks up with them spliced either way, so I picked one and spliced them together.
Is there any reason that one way would be better than the other?
Thanks.
