Intermittent Cruise Control

When I engage cruise control it engages for a second, but does not hold. I gotta 15- code with check-engine-light process. The Chrysler shop manual is complicated to me with a lot of steps and or procedures. Got any ideas? The cruise worked well until now. Thank you CTD gurus. Patrick

you say a 15 code, you mean you plugged into the obd port with a reader and got that or it flashed that on the dash?

I got code from dash flash. I have not test ed vacuum yet, vacuum hose appears fine. I found a brake light/pedal switch at Autovome, they cross referenced the Chrysler # from my VIN. Thanks for input, Patrick

It is often times the spool of wire under the steering column called the "clock spring " next check the switches in the steering wheel .

I sprayed contact cleaner in plug & speed sensor working well now. Thank you all, Blessings at Christmastime! Patrick
