Hello first time posting. I have a 2010 2500 6. 7l and every once in a while it will skipping on start up. hot or cold doesn't matter and it usually happens after towing my trailer. It probably happened ten times in the past 6 months. The last time it happened it set a p0302 for misfire detected cylinder 2. By the time I got it to the dealer the code was no longer stored. After talking with the tech they seem to think that its a bad injector but they cannot replace it due to the fact that chrysler wants them to download and send all the event data when it happens. They have had the truck for 3 days and are unable to duplicate the concern. I took video and pictures of the code and of the engine skipping when it was happening. any advice or suggestions. its starting to get frustating and I know that the dealers hands are tired in this situation due to warranty(they will bounce the claim). Sorry for the long post. :{ thanks in advance mike

Have they tried pulling your trailer down the road or they should have portable computer/scanner that will record data while truck is in use (including starting it).

How long was it from the P0302 until you got it to the dealer? The codes should make the MIL go away, but should be stored in memory.
