New Engine Losing Oil Pressure

thought swapping the FCA out corrected a long crank time. If truck sits overnight it’ll fire up immediately. When it’s warm and turn it over is when the long crank occurs. Truck is not ‘making’ oil. Thanks for any ideas

I would look at injectors. I had the opposite problem: My truck had long crank times and problems starting in the morning when cold, or when it had sat a long time. But when warm and in use it would start after a 2-3 second crank. With new injectors crank time is now less than a second.

Crunch is on it You have injector(s) that are bad Heat causing expansion and you can't get enough rail pressure to fire.

It could be the connector tubes, but as others have pointed out, that's usually a band-aid fix. I had mine re-seated about a year and a half ago and it worked for several months. But in the end, it all comes back to injectors and I had mine replaced last December. Problem solved...at least that problem. Now I am on to another one...

Probably injectors, but, you need to verify if you do not want to throw parts at it. Injector return flow test per Dodge and cylinder contribution tests.
