Hello all,

I have changed several parts discussed on this forum regarding fuel issues, but am still having a problem. I have almost no power even at 3/4 throttle, and the rail pressure does not move much, and then will behave normally after a short while; this happens most noticeably while using the AC, or just after. I have changed the fuel filter, dropped and cleaned the tank and fuel sender, placed filters on the tank breathers, and replaced the APPS, all within the last 4 weeks. I have also installed dual filter-mounted fuel pumps using a bracket from one of the members; both pumps are new and run simultaneously.

Needless to say, I would like to get to the bottom of this issue. I am beginning to think there may be an electrical problem (short) related to the AC, but I don't get any codes. I would greatly appreciate any input; I have to eliminate this problem. If anyone can help, or knows of a good shop a reasonable distance from Pasadena, Ca. I would be grateful.

Best regards,

J. S. :)

Could be a long shot, but have you checked all your intake connections. Me and a guy at work were just talking about that today. Have you heard any hissing from the motor? Check the boots. He told me that some of them seem tight but have oil residue on them and the boost pushes them off.

Thanks for the replies! I have checked the boost hoses and tightened those that were loose, but I still have this issue. I think I'll look more closely at the wiring issue, and thanks for the link JJPAGE. It is always great to have a resource such as this when things are out of sorts. Any other suggestions?
