2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Intermittent wipers

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I could find the thread. When I turn my wipers on the intermittent setting occasionally they run continuously. I am guessing it is a relay or a capacitor that needs replaced, but I don't know where it is. Can anyone help?

Intermittent Wiper Module

Piatt,

If the problem occurs ONLY in the DELAY mode, it is the intermittent wipe module. The IWM is located in a bracket on the lower instrument panel support behind the knee blocker panel.

Also, check grounds at:

1. instrument panel(tight & free from paint)

2. W/W motor ground strap tightness & W/W motor mounting bolts
