92 W250 Blue/white smoke- many variables

Hey all. Have a issue with my 1992 ram w250 factory auto been swapped to a 5 speed. Three times now the truck has randomly died while driving, gauges lost power engine shut off wouldn't crank as if you had turned the ignition back to off. All three times I was able to get it to come back on while rolling by switching the ignition to off then turning it back to run and the truck ran normal. I replaced the ignition switch thinking that seemed likely and it did a 2-3 hour round trip no issues then next day drive it 10 minutes away and it did it again once again being fired back up by turning it to off then back to run. Has anyone had anything like this happen before? Could it be the fusible links? What would you check. Thanks.

I would check the main power wire from the battery to your fuse box. It can corrode under the insulation.
