Need help, looking at the FASS Lift Pump DDRP for my 2001 2500 Dodge.



My fuel pressure guage is staying a 3psi, and sometimes goes to 6psi. Judging from all of the posting, I should be looking for a new fuel pump.



I currently pull a 29' Travel Trailer,and have a CGVW of 17500 lbs (on the scales) at my time of depature on camping trips.



Looking for a great dealer and service to buy and install the DDRP, have any recommendations for the Littleton, Colorado area?



As with any new product on the market, have we had any problems with the DDRP that we should be aware of?



I plan to do this soon for a great camping trip is comming up soon (05-21-09)

I've been trying to find a current thread you are participating. Just a few questions. How do you inspect the wire screen mesh you have mentioned on the Fass pumps, and how important is it that the screen is left in place and not taken out? On the side, what kind of fuel pressure gauge would you reccomend for a truck equipped w/ a Fass 95 series pump?

I just went out and took off what I think is the banjo bolt. Is the banjo bolt the one that connects directly to the hose that runs from the tank? If it is, mine does not have a mesh screen.

hey, lowfly installed the ddrp pump on frame near tank 5/8/09 already had the vulcan big line kit. 3/8 from tank to pump, 1/2 from pump to filter to injector pump. at idle 15-16 psi, wot drops down to 13-14 psi,truck is stock. love it so for. I will be pulling our 9,000# camper for about 4 hrs in about 10 days and I will get back on the psi with a load on it.

so for so good on ddrp, got about 5,000 miles just made a pull with camper, with some good pulls fuel psi at wot was 12-13 psi love it. no load 14-15 psi

I have a 2000 with ddrp it has a edge ez, 14 psi at idle, it will pull down to 6 psi on the floor, I pulled the tank when I installed it and everything was clean. any suggestions. thanks Todd
