Stanley cup?

I am wanting to get into investing a little bit. I am considering investing into European markets, because of the whole Euro/US Dollar thing. I was curious if anyone here has done any of this. I'm curious how to go about doing it, and any tips anyone would have. I considering making a trip to Deutschland in a couple years, and would like to have some money in Euros, just in case our dollar is any weaker against the Euro when the time comes.

I invested in a mutual fund at Vanguard, FTSE All World Except US. Invests in countries all over the world, but none in the US.

Of all my mutual funds, it has done the best by far. All my other funds are primarily US holdings.

There are many types of fund families i. e. American Funds, Frankiln Templeton, Vanguard... They all have foreign funds. Get a copy of the funds prospectus, it will tell you which countries it is invested in. I personally would put some money in foreign countries, but never put all your eggs in one basket. Know what I mean?
