how do I find out what the invoice is on a new truck. I'm going to buy one but I need to know how much truck I can afford . reg cab 4 door E. T. C.

To find the invoice price go to the following web site and build the truck with the options you want. At the end you will see the invoice price and MSRP. Remember that the dealer actually pays 3% less (dealer holdback) than invoice.

if you want i have a friend that works for chrysler he will let you use a discount which is called friends and family , you get truck at 1%below dealer invoice plus rebates let me know

they can also pass along the green slip to one person, which is 4-5 percent below invoice. but that is only one person this year,so he might have already used it. I got several for tdr members a lil while back. I probably could get a few more.

Sorry in advance but I have to vent. Don't know if this happened when I got my '99 and then my '03, but it's happening with the 300C I just ordered. You get a nice price of $100 over invoice. Then you find out that built into the invoice is $460 for advertising - I didn't order advertising but I'm stuck with it. Then you see the sign that says on top of the agreed upon price, the dealer is tacking on $493 for inspecting, cleaning, etc, the vehicle and additional dealer profit. Just makes you want to put a hole in the wall with your fist. Okay, I vented. Sorry.

The advertising fee as I understand it is normal. It is part of what pays for the local advertising for Dodge (or whoever). The other charge is bogus as Dodge already pays the dealer to prep the vehicle prior to delivery.
