Iowa club?

Does anyone know if there is an Ia club? or somewhere nearby. I would like to have an Ia club to meet up and eat, talk trucks whatever. Anyone interested? It seems like every other state has one but us :{

Welcome to the TDR KGrover, I think I asked this before and all I got was that there were clubs in Omaha and K. C. , but if you want to start a club that would be cool, I just dont know if you have to go through TDR to start one? But if you want to meet up sometime just email me at -- email address removed --. Im from central Ia north of Des Moines. Let me know. See ya for now.

All you have to do is get together. Problem allways seems to be that we're too spread out in IA. I belong to the MWTDR(Omaha). WI bunch(don't think there is a real name ) and make most of the stuff in KC. Bottom line is somebody has to travel, there aren't enough of us centrally located in IA. If you want to set up a meeting go ahead. Pick a time and place, post it in events forum. Try to give good advance notice and not conflict with other/bigger events.

We have several NE Iowa guys in our Wisconsin group (and some western IA guys like Lurch). Sorry, no dues:{ - we're not an official chapter. We also have several eastern MN guys and some northern IL guys. PM me if you want to be on our list.

It appears from the new segregation guidelines, the MN and IA gangs are Central division and the WI gang is Great Lakes division. Hmm does this mean we cannot associate anymore?



I see the next meet at Goerend Bros. Transmission will not be this May. Any idea on when the dyno overhaul will be complete?

Our informal group from ND & MN had 2 meets last year with the second event attendance doubling the first event. We hope to keep things growing for this year, too.

Aron says the Goerend dyno event will be some time in the summer. It sounds like there's going to be a dyno event near Wausau in May, though. There is info on both of these events on a thread entitled WI chapter - on the events forum, I think.
