Hey all. I drive a 05 with the single disc infinity head unit. I had a amp and great speakers installed with fiber glass box and subs under the rear seat. Sounds great! I want to retain the stock appearing head unit. What is the best/easiest way to hook up my ipod. I checked out the cordless deals but was told and have read that they dont work well. I would like to mount a jack or something and be able to plug in. Any ideas? My local shop (that did the orig work) wants 250 for a hookup (hardwired) is that reasonable.

I have a Pioneer head unit that has an IPOD hook up. Go to Pac Audio's web site if there is an adapter made they will make it.

A word of caution regarding Mopar Ipod interface. I have factory Uconnect and an RBK, and although the instructions for the Mopar interface say they are compatible, it would not work on my truck. There is no way to answer incomming calls with the Ipod unit inline between the Uconnect and the radio, even though the radio displays "cell" and the volume from the Ipod interface changes (I am assuming in respose to the radio expecting to see the audio level of the Uconnect). Luckily I made my local parts guy swear he would take it back if it didn't work - I learned my lesson with Sirius and Uconnect.

Looks pretty slick if you don't have factory Uconnect though!
