You can get radio bessel instructions off the internet for a little money, or check the threads here for instructions. I bought the kit that plugs into the 6-disk cd changer plug and it works awsome. Installation only took about ten minutes, the dash comes apart very easy. I routed the ipod wire to the little tray in front of my 4x4 shift lever, there it sits and I easily take it out when I need to.

The FM transmitters seem to have very much "noise" from the electronic injectors, I borrowed my buddies once before to see if I wanted to fork over the two hundred dollars ($200) for the plug in unit. I am very pleased, the ipod sounds as good or better than a cd, no noise and control is through the ipod or radio. Some radios have better features than others and will display the song title and artist, mine however does not but I have playlist shuffle so I do not look at this at all, only play my music. There is also audio/video inputs for those who want a DVD played through the radio speakers for your kids or whomever. Hope this helps.

Unless you really use the changer a lot, I'd consider dumping the OEM stereo and replacing it with an aftermarket unit that has USB and aux input jacks on the face.

I have one similar to this in my '03 and just love it. I plug my thumb drive into the USB for . mp3 files, and use the aux input jack for my XM radio receiver input. Plus, the CD player can handle several formats. $169 from Crutchfield.

Thats what I did however I use my Ipod cuz my new radio has a module that came with it I love it and it adapts to the Infinity perfectly

We have a Belkin FM transmitter, and it's horrible IMO... in the best of situations, there is minor static, it's never totally "clean", and when you travel all over the Country for a living, it gets old quick.

My Bilkin FM Transmitter has been absolutely great. No static, perfectly clear and we went across the country, across Canada to Alaska and back with it. Only once did we have to change the FM station. We had the ipod on the entire 11,000 mile round trip.

I tried the Belkin FM Transmitter and I had simlar results to mconstable. It was very hard to get anything to work in the Denver area, and on roads trips through Nebraska and South Dakota it might work for a stretch of 50 miles or so then would have to try find another station.

It was such a hassle I returned the transmitter and I am still awaiting a different solution, i. e. difference deck or solid connection to the aux input on the back of the stock 6 disc in dash changer.

Mine just stopped working :( The head unit is not recognizing the DVD, which is the input it uses, so I am hoping it is just a loose connection. I'll open it up tomorrow and check it out. No, not the best, but it works and I listen to satellite a lot, so it is not a necessity, but nice to have.

Were you able to fix it? I was considering ordering this but would like to know what you discovered if you have time to post.

Yes, I fixed it. Just a loose connection. It took all of 5 minutes to pop the bezel, test which connection was loose, and put it back together. I knew it was the power wire, because the head unit didn't recognize the DVD input as being there, so once I plugged it in, everything went back to working.

I recommend it but, then again, haven't tried anything else.
