IPOD w/ 6 disc

Hi gang, I saw some threads on radio/electronics stuff a while back, there are some real knowledgable people on here. So, could we discuss some radio stuff again?? I've got the '05 6 Disc w/ Infinity setup, soon to get the wheel audio control conversion. I am a little ignorant on how this stuff all works, but I saw in the Best Buy flyer today, they are selling and IPOD to head unit interface for like $200. My questions are:



What exactly do we need for hardware/interfaces to connect the IPOD to this head unit. Didn't I see somewheres that this head unit is unique in that it doesn't have as many auxiliary inputs as the other DC head units?? Also, while I'm at this, I'd be interested in inputing the XM delphi in as an auxiliary hookup, not FM modulated, so we are true digital.



Is it even possible to hook these two up?? What all is needed and what is involved?? Thanks alot for the help.

I bought an interface from www.logjamelectronics.com (chry02/pc-pod) . You need to have a radio that has controls for a cd changer. It works great and keeps the ipod charged.

Well, I like FM modulated so I can move it from rig to rig. I used it in my trip to St. Louis and I did have to adjust the channel a couple of times, and my hearing isn't as good as you younger folk, but it's easy to work with and I loan my XM out to friends going on trips. I love the adult comedy channel!
