I been considering putting ceramic coating still looking at different products and watch what folks are doing.

I did my truck and my wife's car after the TDR write up a couple issues ago. I have to say I'm impressed so far, but the truck and car are both in the garage or covered most of the time. I washed the truck tonight and the water still beads up like when I first applied it. I used the CarPro product, but I was looking at the new Meguires product at SEMA and I might give that a try on the Dakota.

Working in steel shotting foundries with faulty dust collector systems provided for many challenging cleanups. We all used Oxalic Acid in the wash to clean the finish. It worked and I could never see any detrimental effects. I cant imagine dragging those fine steel particles across the finish to remove them. A lot of suds, a soft mitt, some Oxalic Acid and it floats away.
