today i sat home and picked up the local arizona paper today and saw an article titled "unsafe trailers rampant in the vally". well about three weeks ago we made a run with our enclosed 28 foot trailer. we made the mistake of overloading it and had a hard time getting it home. too much weight on the turning axles after one of the racks shifted and blew out the right front tire three times... could this be a sign that maybe its time for my family to stop towing trailers?? i just found that ironic and thought i should share. heres a pic of the trailer loaded on to our 1ton GMC chevy. its just to move around the yard our main towing truck is an 82 GMC with a ctd. but usually i can pick the tounge of the trailer up with one hand. the front tires off make no diffrence. i think one of the axles slipped one time when it got very squirrly on the freeway @ 55mph. not a fun ride.

usually the truck is level and is equipped with repacked springs for loads (ride quality really stinks
