Don't use lit charcoal to warm a diesel engine...!

Other than the weather being HOT D*** HOT

the 7hr drive was worth it!!!!

lots of racing at the track dyno runs and sled pulling

there were tons of awesome trucks 98% dodge 1% ford and 1% Chevy :-laf

Lots of Beverages, tire burning and smoke shows at the Amerhoist and Days Inn.

it was great to meet some of the TDR members

Special thanks to Bill, Frank, Chris, Drew, and Ian for thier Hospitality

we're looking forward to the next years IRP event!!! Oo. Oo. Oo.

It was a GREAT time!!

I had to be home sunday so I missed that .

Did you get that Lock-up switch working?

We were ar the Amerihost some Friday night, We were riding Harleys, then Sat, a friend said the cops shut it down about 11:15.

I got too hot sat. It was just too much for me. I've had Heat stroke 1 time and exhaustion 2 times. Doc,s say don't do it again!!

We all had a good time at irp this year, had 15 trucks meet in ohio and convoy up together. That was pretty cool looking out and seeing everyone in a line. Not real sure about this event being at IRP saturday moring was a total mess. Tickets sold in advance like at muncie would have been nice.

I like the munice set up better all the pulls one day and the drags another.

The cops seem to be a bigger pain in the A@#. Since it seems like it is going to be there next year someone that lives up around plainsfeild need to look for a private lot where the cops cant be a factor. There was a bunch of wharehouses on out the road from the hotels. There has to be a least one dieselhead working at them.

FOX

you are right it was WAY to hot

yes saturday night was WILD the cops came in 2-3 times and shut it down!

i didn't have your # with me forgot it at home, i wanted to meet up with you and at least give you a cold Canadian beer for your help, i guess i'll have to save you one for next year :-laf

but i do think i see you at the Hotel!

we could not get the Lock-up to work the way you said to do it, just ran out of time,

so we pulled the relay and that worked fine!

Woodsrat,

There was some space about 20 minutes north of IRP which would have worked. keep it in mind for next year. when it starts getting late, you'll start seeing the sportbike guys putting on a shows out that direction. and the cops are like that year round.

Man were Fri and Sat nite awesome or what!!! Seeing that crazy white Ford make a fool of himself by doing a donut in the street an he hit the curb and blew a tire!! then he kept on tearing around like an idiot till I was scared he was gonna kill somebody. Then out comes the tow strap and he hooks up to it and it wanting someone to hook up! Out comes the single stacked Dodge that only dyno'd at 358hp but he hooked up and drug that Ford backward at like 20mph!! then that wasnt enough the Ford didn't think he was in 4wd so they hooked up again and dodge took him away again with the Ford's back tires hopping 10in off the road !!! The crowd was going crazy!!! That was the funniest crap!!!

I had an awesome time! Convoy of 6 trucks from MI and Canada, great group of guys (and gal)! Excellent racing action, facilities, vendor show... Mental notes for next year..... bring an industrial fan for the "asphalt campsite" and a generator for camper's A/C!!!! I got in one burnout at the hotel Sat. , I had to do it early enough that I did not embarrass myself in front of too many people. :-laf

The crowd loved the ... uhh... . "entertainment" provided by Chris. Anybody going to post that pic of the cowboy hat/boots and thong dance??? It should last a good 20 min before it gets removed

Thanks for the sticker install Graphic man!

Definitely was a wild time! I already have my name on the list for Amerihost for next year :D

Anyone else really amused by the manager's discussion with the cops? lol

I still think the jet powered go-kart Friday night took the prize for the coolest vehicle :)

Even for us family type of guys (ie my wife and two kids and nephew) who made the trip we had a great time on Saturday. It was awesome to see and be around all the diesel trucks there and I made the comment to my wife when we got out of the truck that we must be in heaven, lol. It also gave me the sled pulling bug. Take care all, looking forward to August in Terra Haute.

Kinda like a 3rd gen guy last year @ Muncie that had a full on FLAME out the exhaust from egt's thru the roof after a 60 seccond transmission slip ... it wasn't tire smoke just soot and some OTHER foreighn smoke. LOL!
