Competition high 12's low 13's with 24v?

Competition TDR's Craig Severson @ IRP Winning Super Street Quals VIDEO!!

So did they go ahead and do the pulling finals yesterday? We went out to Indy yesterday, ate lunch, and were heading toward IRP about 20 min away at 1:30 or 1:45, and the skies were getting dark fast. Didn't want to pay the entrance fee and then not get to see anything, so we just turned around and drove home... :(

Chris

Justin i was wondering how far away is it from Laffayet to where u guys were pullin? I know some people from that area and want to get out that way and see u guys pull!

Robert won street. Is the Scheid motor OEM?

Rained out Sunday.

Wish I could have pulled Sunday; had more fuel to give it. But atleast pulled 255 Saturday and nothing broke so reasonably happy for first pull. I'll get more fuel into it and better traction...

Tires were just skating the top of that clay pack with way too much spin until they'd grab ruts and throw the truck from side to side. Had a -lot- of speed mid track then got slammed HARD at 250. Hit a wall hard.

Did that sled have an anchor? Teeth to bite or something? :-laf

Yea, I was hoping the same thing, I actually think I may have been hitting the governor, I watched my video seems like I was running out of fuel. Time to slide the plate forward, and give a few clicks on the governor springs. :) Well that and figure out how to keep freeze plugs in the head

Well I sort of wanted to but I didnt meet all the safety requirements.

Thats ok though. The BIG PULL of the day was at TAMPICO!! :-laf

Tampico had about 10,000 in attendance (no bs).

Tampico will always be the BIG pull around here. I would love to see an overhead shot sometime. Sat. was my first time and last time going to the Diesel Nats. The only reason I went was because I got in for free. The food and drinks there were a freaking rip off for one. Two, that was the worst track I think I've ever seen. I mean this is supposed to be the best pull anywhere... a National event. Full of rocks and nothing holding it together. And what the hell was up with not tarping the track on Sunday? Pretty pathetic if you ask me.

BTW Justin... . from what I saw and heard, a few trucks made it through tech without the proper safety equipment.

That figures.

Didnt we see some questionable items on certain trucks? (ie trick hitches and hitches not mounted at "rear most" point)

I guess it depends on who you are...

i got vids on TDG , should b ready in a little bit , i put some burn out vids on there too DANG it was crazy saterday night , better than at the trac

Hey BigMAK did u have the black 3rd gen in superstreet ???

Nope; maroon color 3rd Gen running in street. Justin put up some vid links in the 3rd gen forum. The black one is Justin's I think; but he didn't get to pull. Too bad; folks where coming up and telling me it was nice to see a 3rd gen lay down a decent run and I know Justin is running even stronger (at the moment! )

Took the truck out tonight and raced a dakota rt and blew the turbo to intercooler hose into a million pieces. lol. Pulled the hose off the new truck I need to get some miles back on the puller.

Was testing out different settings with this new setup (lotsa fuel, injectors, silver bullet, tst comp) and I'm getting a ton of surging at low/med throttle on high computer settings but at hard/wot it runs hell bent for leather smooth as glass. :-laf :D Understandable at low throttle the comps have no clue where all that fuel is coming from. ;)

Nope; CP3 is no longer stock. Need to keep that rail pressure at 20,000+ or you're loosing power. I'm working on that now; trying to make sure RP is where it needs to be.
