Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) is a 99 lift pump the same as a 98.5?

hello everyone i need to get a lift pump for my 98. 5 24v. from this website another member gave a cummins part# 3990082 for his 99ram is mine the same andis it a15psi pump i'm paying $127 from genesee freightliner in rochester ny thanks mike

The new part # is 3990105 you will also need the pig tail harness for the new pump pump

from what i understand the 3990082 comes with the pigtail 3990105 without is that true?

Yep, been one for 28 years now, St. Tammany Parish Louisiana

I was unaware of the new part number with the pig tail, but I think that number is for the old style pump with the harness attached to the pump. On duty protecting lives and saving property as we speak.

yes, 15 psi is what the 3990105 is set up for.
