The closer it gets to the time off "unveiling" my new truck, the harder it gets to wait for it's arrival!Oo. I'm supposed to be getting mine on the 26th and can't seem to hold myself back! Does anyone else have one coming in that time frame or earlier?I've been wanting to get my AFE for it but am not sure if the inlet is the same size as the pre 04. 5. Any input would be appreciated... .

I'm waiting, just got off the phone with DC and they said my truck was built Thurs. and was awaiting shipping. I don't know how long it will take to get to the west coast from Saltillo, but I hope it's fast.

Just received a call and was told mine is in "F" status as of yesterday. I believe that is painting. Hope they took their time!

I ordered mine on dec 9 and they said it was going to be shipped jan 14

My order went in on December 3rd. Was to be shipped today but I doubt that as it was just painted yesterday. Was told though they do not stay at the factory anytime at all before they are loaded and shipped. If everything goes right and mine is not pulled for inspection, it should arrive in Oregon around January 23rd.

Well, if I did my signature correctly, you can see what I ordered. It was ordered on 12/22. This is worse that waiting for Santa when I was a kid.



Because of so many orders being placed for the 325/600, my dealer says he can't give me any meaningful status info until the middle of next week.



This will be my 3rd CTD. Previously had 94, then 97. Both great trucks! With the new engine now available it Ca, this one should be the best yet.

I was told I had a build date of 1-12-04 , that would be this coming monday , Did you guys get a ship date after the build date or is the build date also the ship date? My vin is 187449 BTW. Oo. Oo. Oo. The ordering dealer estimates a Feb. 6th delivery , I'm hoping for late Janauary of course My 96' has been gone 3 weeks now , I think I am having withdrawls.

I did get a ride in my buddy's imported HO last night .

As of 1-7-04 mine was built-hopefully I will have it by the end of the month! I did ask, and to NC it's all rail, so no salt water damage! I don't understand shipping them across the Gulf of Mexico instead of rail to FL.

I placed my order on Dec 12th and just heard from the dealer that the truck was built yesterday, January 8th. He expects delivery here in the LA area about Jan 22 or 23.



An interesting story here, when I was ready to order the truck, I first went to my nearest dealer. I had been impressed with the salesman's knowledge of his product and wanted to keep the sales tax money within my own city if possible. I was surprised to hear from him that his best estimate of delivery was sometime in April. After I picked myself up off the floor and cross-examined him a couple of times, I decided to try the next closest dealership.



The second dealership could not believe my story and insisted that no kidding, they could get me the truck within about six weeks. I was a bit skeptical, but after talking with the salesman, was convinced that he was being honest. I placed my order immediately.



I have spoken with the salesman several times now, and everything is on, or ahead of schedule. Seems too good to be true. I guess the proof will be when I actually see it with my own eyes.



It is a big mystery why one dealer would give a delivery time of 15 weeks and another, ten miles away, give a delivery time of six. I encourage you to shop around!

I ordered mine just before christmas. Got a call from the dealer yesterday that it is at the gate but they don't have a VIN # yet. My daughter took the call as I was not home, now what does "at the gate" meen? My 96 sold to the first person I offered it to, so now I can't wait for the new ride.

I ordered mine Oct. 19. The dealer has know idea if I will get the new engine or when its comming.

If your dealer has a VON (Vehicle Order Number), which he is given when he places the order, he can use the DC Insight Logistics Data Base and find out when it was or will be built, the expected ship date and delivery date. I assume he is a small town dealership??? My dealership in Key West had never heard of that Data Base. I had to instruct them on how to access and use it. All that is needed is the six digit DC dealer code and the VON or last six positions of the VIN. You should be getting close on yours. I ordered on 9/25 and got mine on 12/11. If your truck was built in '04, it'll be the 325/600. Ask your dealer about the Insight data base. If he's never heard of it, PM me & I'll give you the link to give to him. If he blows you off, I'd ask for my deposit back and go elsewhere.
