... do the 24 valve trucks actually display a loss of power at higher elevation? My older '91 always seemed every bit as strong at 10,000 feet as it did at sea level - but my new one certainly does NOT!
I realize the difference between the older truck's auto transmission, and the manual in the new truck will display differing characteristics - but I wouldn't really expect it to be as noticeable is it currently is...
In any event, future power mods should bring up the power level a bit - but that OLD truck sure did pull! I wonder if the smaller turbo housing on the newer trucks cause max boost levels to fall on their face at higher elevation?
