Is it possible to have a place to experiment with things like links and pictures?

I am just starting to want to put links and pictures in a thread. I don't really want to experiment with a live thread. I would like to be able to have a side practice place that I can practice including a picture in a thread before I try it for real.

Send a private message to yourself. Pm's use the exact same codes, procedures, etc. Then you can read it to see what it looks like and delete it when your done.
