do you spell like a physician?

What is the greatest invention from the technicial revolution?

I was raised in west Texas and there it is "Yont a coldrank?" That is to say "Do you want a cold drink? " The proper response was usually "Yep, I'll have a Dr. Pepper"

Usually accompanied by a Snickers bar or some such other necessity.

I think of'em as a "coke" (northeastern Okla).

When IN the south, however, as a loyal Southerner, with my ribs, coleslaw, beans, ribs, tatersalad, ribs, greens, ribs, and ribs, I'll get "a RC" when possible. --- when not, "I'll havva dyaaat coooke"

When in the Philippines, my favorite is actually a "Royal" orange soda (orange coke just don't sound right), very similar to a MinuteMaid orange, but not quite like orange NeHi ( I miss those!)

Big John,

I lived in the Lubbock area for about a year and that was the first time I saw someone put peanuts in their coke. That was 30+ years ago. Do they still do that ? Is it a "nutty coke":)

Dadgummit!!! Everbody knows you put peanuts in Dr. Pepper, NOT Coke! What is this world comin' to??? :)

I was born and raised in Albany NY and it was Soda. I escaped to California and it became pop. I lived in CA for 14 days when I decided another escape was in order - it took 14 months before I was able to escape from CA to Oregon and in OR it's pop. Seems like East coast - soda and West it's pop. ;) ;)

In Ohio it's Pop, in N. C. it's a drink. If I order in a restaurant I order a cola. That way the waitress doesn't have to ask me Pepsi or Coke?

Has anyone ever mixed a Coke in with their chocolate milkshake?

Kinda like a really thick cold Yahoo.

It's "Carbonated Sugar water". In the case of Pepsi, Coke, and several similar drinks... "Carbonated shoe polish".

I like 7-UP, Sprite, and a couple of Grapefruit flavored kinds, but most of the rest I just do NOT like.

In Oklahoma it was a pop. I moved to Tx. in 86 and I never will forget the look on the watress's face when I asked what kind of pop they had. When she said they didn't have any pop's I got some tea. Later my mom told me that most folks down here call it soda or just ask for their favorite brand.
