Is it worth it?

Who out there has a Banks High-Ram intake? I'm thinking about installing one on my 03, but would like some feedback from the group. Does truck performance improve with this mod? Any other suggestions besides Banks?

Check out the ATS Arc-Flow or CFM+. I've actually read posts from folks with the High-Ram saying they lost power with the Banks. Lots of other options out there now too, with Glaciers new intake and BD had one as well.

I HIGHLY recommend Richard's (GDP's) intake. One of the most cost effective solutions and very high quality... I just purchased one a week ago. Fast shipping to..... Also, to top it off, Richard is one of the best guys that I've ever dealt with!!! His name on TDR is Gypsyman (I think, although the spelling may be wrong). Or, you can just search for GDP and you'll find it..... I did lots of comparisons between Banks, CFM+, and GDP's and found that his was the best bang for buck!

I'd say no. Normally its not worth my time looking at threads that don't give me a clue what they might be about.

BD out in bc now has an intake horn elbow too... afe also has one now [it looks pretty too]

I have not heard of any measurable performance change with an intake on a relatively stock truck. If you want bling, (which is good too) by all means pick out your favorite!
