Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Is it worth purchasing a used turbo

Well, looks like I have gone through my 2nd HX35 and need a better breathing turbo for my modifacations . The problem is, do I save some money and look for a used turbo,downpipe and manifold or just buy new. The cash is tight right now but it must be done?#@$%! I just do not want to be buying another turbo in the near future because I purchased used and the thing dies on me like the HX35s

well, every turbo is used as soon as you first fire up the truck after getting it installed



watch the classifieds, if you see one for sale, do a search on the person's username and see what kind of person they seem to be, etc.



I always call and talk to people on the phone and just chat with them for a while just to see what kind of gut feeling I get.



I've bought/installed a number of used turbos, and I haven't had any problems with any TDR members to date on ANY transaction



I buy new, I buy used, whatever's the right deal from the right person
