Is it worth the money?

Is it worth the money to put a stage 2 intake on a stock truck with a 4 in exhaust? Or would I be just as good with a afe square replacement filter.

Mine howls pretty loud, sounds like a jet engine, I personnaly like it! Helps the turbo spool up, seems to have more power. My Buddie's 3rd Gen isn't too loud.

The stage 2 is not that loud,even with an HX-40 with no silencer ring

I put a AFE Stage I from Piers on mine and I like the turbo whistle I get now. It does remind me of of jet taking off. Had a drop in square AFE filter in the stock box... . then ditched the box and added the Stage I and it improved the performace... it spools up faster and I can feel the increase in power even tho I have only 8 psi :{ boost. Can't wait to see what happens when I fix the boost leak Oo. .



When I bought the #10 plate and 3K GSK form Piers (not installed yet) they recommended getting rid of the stock air box cause it's too restrictive. Needed more air in to get more power out they said.



My wife likes the turbo whistle and it makes me .
