I just washed my truck with a high pressure hose, and now my overhead computer is freakin'. I'm getting a bunch of screwy numbers and symbols on every mode. I washed the cab marker lights and lightly sprayed the engine bay, the same as I always do. Water had to get in somewhere, and I'm guessin' under a cab light.

Will the thing dry out and work right again? Or is it fried?

It may just be that water has got in to the outside temp sensor mounted near the grill. If it was me I’d let it dry out a few day before you get to concerned

It's been a few days now, and the OH computer is still acting up. The compass and mileage modes are the only 2 not working right. The others have cleared up, but it looks like the thing is permanently shot. Has anyone been inside one of these things, or know how I might be able to fix the problem? If not, what's the cost estimate of a new one?

Ouch... that will be a expensive fix if you go to the dealer. I would give it another month before you break out the cash. I would also double check your cab lights and make sure they are not leaking.

Just a word of advice... I have found that pressure washers do more harm than any good, especially in the engine compartment. Use a hose and a brush or mit for the outside and spray the engine compartment with Simple Green... . let sit for ten minutes and hose down with low pressure. It works better and safer for the truck. :)
