I posted a note a couple of weeks ago about my transmission losing all it's fluid because the cooling line to the front air to oil cooler rubbed a hole in it where the cooler line crosses the front crossmember.
The transmission seems fine in all but 1 place... Between 5 and 10 MPH on a slight up-hill grade, the transmission shudders or bucks some. It's not a violent shake, but you can definitely feel it when you're going slow. If I'm accellerating pretty quickly, I don't really notice it, but if I have to coast through traffic, it's definitely noticeable...
Any Ideas ? Is it time for a transmission re-build ?
The truck is a 98. 5 with one of the early 24 valves in it. It now has just over 70,000 miles on it. The transmission currently has a Trans-Go performance shift kit in it and I occasionally tow a 9,000 lb 5th wheel.
