My trans suddenly grew its own mystery switch.
Seems like it goes into lockup whenever I shift into D. When I slow down below 35mph truck starts to shudder like lockup did not disengage. I have to shift to 2 at this point. Above 35mph I can shift back to D and it will be in lockup. If I am at a standstill and I shift into D from any other shift position, truck will start to shudder like a stick shift with clutch engaged in gear and engine dies. Problem just started today. Does this mean I need to call DTT for a new TC and VB?? Not really ready yet... I just ordered my new turbo and gov spring kit from Piers this morning. Wasn't planning on getting a new TC till about summer.
