Is new pan gasket required for 48RE?

Doing 1st trans fluid change, was wondering if the gasket is the reusable type, or do I need to buy a new gasket along with the filter? Hope this hasn't been asked before, my search diddn't pop anything up.

Geno's transmission Kit

I replace my gasket each time i do a transmission filter change, i get the kit from Geno's that has the gasket, i guess these are probably the reusable kind but im not trusting them after all the heating and cooling down of the transmission after each run so i just replace it and the kits isn't that high, i think for my truck which is a auto they are between 20-25 bucks I think, but check Geno's website

The Fleetguard TF15039 includes a new gasket.

If it's a thick rubber one, it's reusable. If it's the normal thin gasket material, replace it.
