Fuel flow of VE pump

Laser bob is the man no doubt about it

I've done the guages (westach boost/egt, fuel pressure and trans temp) and I've installed a nice magnaflow 4" exhaust. I'm going to do the BHAF this month and I've decided before injectors and edge EZ that I should upgrade the fuel pump.

I've done searches and read enough to decide I want the RASP. I just want to confirm the RASP is enough pump for some RV 275's or some Mach 1. 5's with an Edge box?

From what I've read I think it will but I want to make sure I don't need to order something different to make it work with the increased fuel flow.

I was under the impression that the RASP would handle anything from a stock truck to an 800HP drug pushin monster. You'll be set no matter what you do later ;)

The RASP pump comes pre-set between 13 - 14 psi, some guys will push the envelope and go higher but it is not necessary. The way this pump is designed as your engine rpms go up so does your pump volume .

It works just fine with my Mach 4's and Drag Comp! Oo. I've never been able to drop the pressure at the VP44 below 13psi, and I'm at ~500hp.

Um... . ditto?! :D lol. Paul and I have identical setups now it seems. M4's, Drag Comp, full billet DTT. I'm gonna one-up him though w/ my ECM when it gets here Oo.

The sytem for changing the pressure the RASP puts out is simple... one spring, all done. I tried a couple different ones trying to get my pressure right and finally found one that yields 14. 5-15 at idle and nothing below 13 psi at any throttle position, even w/ sticks and box on full-tilt.

Thanks alot guys... I'll be orderin' up soon and getting ready to tow the airstream with a little more ease this summer.
