I can not determine whether or not the 2022 has the CP4. Did they fix this year? I found a used one I like at a dealership. What should I look out for? Also, the truck is at a Chevy dealership. Does anyone know if it is possible to get extended warranty from Dodge? Thanks!!!!

You can get the Maximum care vehicle protection plan (warranty) for it. If it is below 3/36 is is the same as you bought when the truck was new. A google search for "maximum care ram" or "maximum care chrysler" will get places that sell the plan at a big discount over most local ram dealers.

Thank you, do you have experience with these plans and are they "worth" it?

I had the 7/125 on my 2003 Caravan. Paid for a new transmission at 75K miles along with a waterpump, window regulator, lift gate motor and struts and probably some other things.
I have the Lifetime Unlimited mileage on my 2010 Town and Country. I doubt I got my money out of it at 125k miles but since it is lifetime I'm not too worried about it. It is going in this week for sliding door lock replacement.
I have the 8/125 on my 18 3500. So far the only thing it really paid out was a rental car when the Trans Control Module went out but that module was covered by the 3/36 and 5/100 warranty. I do need to get it in one of these days for de-lamination of the screen on the stereo which should be covered under the warranty.

It only takes one transmission or turbo to pay for the warranty so I like the security but these trucks are much more reliable than they were in the 200X so it is questionable if you will see the value out of it over the stock 5/100 powertrain warranty.

Granger Motors in IA seems to have the best pricing on Mopar warranties. $50 above dealer cost.

email your VIN and mileage to MVP@grangermotors.com
Thanks!
I have been following your 2022 upgrades. Thanks for all of your posts. They helped me to decide to look for a 2022 if I found a reasonable price and equipped exactly like I need.

Question: Did you install a FAS fuel filter system or other after market system?

Bone stock fuel system. It’s really hard to beat the OEM setup, the filtration is among the best available and the pump is reliable, adequate, and very long lived.

But I would wonder why a new ? 2022 is at a Chevy dealer. Was there issues with the truck and it was traded for something else. Did buyer just make a mistake buying it. How many miles etc. I think I would need to know the back story. And never trust a dealer has been my experience

Those are good questions. I am still pulling that thread with the dealer. But truck only has 5k miles and is $20K less than new, new. From what I can tell, economy is not doing so well and car prices are starting to come down. Maybe just a return for failure to pay? Or, could be they needed a dually. Who knows.
