I have another thread going about having problems when towing, above 2000 rpm's and the truck has no power and cuts out. Dealer swapped my stock LP with an in-tank setup. Brought the truck home last night and the truck stills cuts out under load at high speeds. Read the tech's notes and it says the first thing he did was to perform a pressure limiter valve test, which passed. Is this valve the same thing as the pressure relief valve folks are having problems with? Also, if my pressure relief valve was opening, is there any chance enough fuel would come out to see? And if so, were would I see it dripping from?

your truck has the relief valve and your symtoms suggest a fuel restriction. if your lift pump is fine then its your valve or even your cp3 maybee they didnt test correctly and missed somthing---its hard to say with dodge techs these days!! :-laf

we have an 04. 5 has no power we swapped the relief valve then the FCA on the pump, then the cp3 still no better egts ran high no power and smoke a black haze all the time even at idol. Lift pump passed the flow test so we are clueless. Mabye the computer. It throws code 148 with no box on it.

you need to get pressure #s on your truck first and also boost, that will tell alot. in park you should hit at least 23kpsi peak at wot, get that first! :D
