Truck I have has a piece of flex-pipe for a tailpipe from the previous owner.

I'm wanting to replace it with a real tailpipe but I'm wondering if the factory one will fit as the piece of pipe that the flex-pipe attaches to is 4"

So I guess I'm wondering what the connection to the muffler and tailpipe size is from the factory.

Thanks,

Scott

I just cut my muffler out yesterday. 3. 5 from the turbo to the resonator, 4" resonator to the muffler, 3" from the muffler to the tip. Mine is an 02 3500 HO but I don't think that the sigmoid colon would be any different between the two.

Thanks sticks

Looks like I'll have get a 4" tailpipe.

A stock was only $85.

I hope I can get a 4" for under $100.

Turbo/Resonator

Is the resonator first and the muffler second???I thought it was the other way around. In the "OLD DAYS"... big cars like the Lincoln Continentals had the resonator at the rear just before the tip of the tail pipe. This was where I got my train of thought.....
