Is there a cow catcher for the Sport Model?

We have a lot of deer in the area and in some spots LOTS of deer are getting hit. I checked with one truck accessory store and they said the model they sell the most of will not work on the Sport trucks.

Whatever the manufacturer it needs to be a beefy cow catcher. I do not want one that is just for looks.

FWIW the Mopar performance one looks cheesy and just for pretty.

The one I saw on a truck in Gaylord did not look like it was functional, looked like it was only for pretty.

Hey Ed,
With one of those on a CTD Ram, you wouldn't have to worry about a deer putting a dent in your truck. Matter of fact, anything short of a Peterbuilt or a Kenworth probably wouldn't either!!!

I was fortunate enough to spend 3 weeks "Down-Under" last November. It was amazing to see everything from a Land Rover to a Kia wearing one of these "Roo Bars". A full grown Red Roo can be over 6 feet tall, and weigh over 300 lbs. I asked a few of the locals about their bars and they all agree that they are worth every penny. A trip to "town" may involve a 3 hour or better road trip, and the roos are all over the countryside, and love to travel at night. Friendliest people I have ever met, can't wait to go back. (but the 13hr flight from L. A. to Sydney bites the big one!)

I have had one since 94. They will move 4" trees off road.
Saw one at Trucks Unique last week getting straightened on a F350 that had hit an elk early last week. Truck had a 10" crease in l/f fender where the wrap around had bent into the fender about 3" and a BIG dent ( caved in ) in the top of the hood about a foot in front of the windshield to about 8" from the grill. No grill, headlite or bumper damage.
