is there a demand for G56 transmissions

simple... is there a demand for working G56 trannys?? i may have to sell one because it comes with the t-case i am buying... just wondering if it would be possible to sell one pretty easily.

If my NV5600 ever goes TU, I'll wish I had a G56. Yes, I think there is a market, at least as long as it's correctly set up for a CTD.

cheap... real cheap, basically i have no use for it and dont want it lying around... it will be a fraction of the cost of a new G56 for sure

what a waste, the POS selling tried to outbid me to jack the price up until it was at least $500 over the reserve price, and he ended up going so high that he outbid me. and I know its the seller because his name is "ilovesharla" and amazingly someone named "sharla####" was the winning bidder

Tsterner has a 271 for sale. It's attached to a NV5600 but he may separate. You might send him a pm. (I send someone a pm about this on the other forum but since I have the memory of a goldfish I forget who I sent it to and it's not in the "sent" folder)

already emailed tsterner, he wants as much for a used 271 as i can buy one for new. and he hasn't emailed me back to accept the offer i gave him for a USED t-case. someone who needs it worse than i do will pay a higher price. i just wanna upgrade my 241 in my 2nd gen truck

Actually that's my fault. He asked me what a new one was and the price I gave him was for the 241 (by accident) which was $1612. 00. The 273 is $832. 00 and the 271 is $793. 00. So going off my accidental price the quote he gave you wasn't too bad. I'll call him and tell him check his mail and sharpen his pencil.

Did the seller say why he is selling the transmission and transfer case? The eBay listing looks fishy to me.



I see that the seller has already changed his eBay I. D. to avoid the appearance of shill bidding.

why are 241 so much more expensive than the 271... i can get a new 271 for $875 from a dealer employee

where can i get one for $793??? i liked the one strener had because i knew for sure it would bolt up to a nv5600
