Is there actually a difference in quality from OEM towing mirrors to the "OEM replacement towing mirrors" you see on Ebay for over a hundred dollars less? plus free freight... ... .

don't know about an 04' but on a 01' yes, Dodge has a kit in their accessories catalog on my 01' where I could buy both mirrors cheaper than 1 mirror out of the parts book (you might want to chack on this or maybe you have, anyway, what I got off the internet was junk

Well I checked last week at the dealer they wanted $452. 00 bux each!!!!! I said WTF I can get after market for much less for a pair..... Thats why I asked theres no way Ill pay those guys 900 bones for the mirrors... #@$%! I emailed both companies on E bay asking what brand they are pretty much not a direct answer... one said their from Asia the other more if you will detailed speech just said high quality after market... I think Ill push for the Kool View mirrors they been around for years with OEM quality mirrors ,but they are around 300 a pair with free freight... any input?

i bought a replacemment set of tow mirrors off ebay that are just like the OEM one's and have had no problems. They also came with power and defrost and only ran me $285 for the set. That was 2 years ago.

Just from what I been reading on the net some people experience a lot of vibration with the after market I found some OEM part# 82207298 for 297. 00 plus frt 15 bux and they have a warranty some of the other companies aren't showing any sort of warranty..... was there any brand name on yours?

LBARTLETT,

Can you give us a link, or something we can get more info. on your mirrors?

I've seen some real cheapies on the shelves while shopping, so I'm skeptical about buying without some type of feedback.

Thanks, Ray

I ended up ordering the OEM for 297. 00 ... . I didnt want any surprises with after market... .

sorry guys, I've been on the road and will be until late Friday. I'll pull my receipt and post the part number(s) as they come in a pair. The 02' mirrors will fit an 01. The $452. 00 is buying them out of the regular Dodge parts catalog, the partsman needs to go to the accessories book. The $297. 00 wasw a little more than I paid because myh dealer gave me a slight discount, when I hit the barn backing a load of hay they sold me the 2nd pair at cost which was $204. 00 which is whay I have a drivers side spare, RJONES let us know if you're happy after you get them on, I wouldn't go any other way, I spent over $1,000 on cipa's and koolvues and ended up throwing them in the dump

I do remember the seller on ebay was a dodge dealer. The mirrors came in a big mopar box.

Call Wyatt Arp Dodge in Seguin Texas... I got a set there for less than 350... power/heat, brand new in a MOPAR box!
