If it ain't Broke, don't FIX IT!!!

I'm looking at purchasing a used Edge EZ for my 2002 HO 6 spd. and was just wondering ... ..... is there a downside to buying used? Do they wear out or is it like a light bulb ~ It either works or doesn't? I also noticed that they are advertized that they came off of a 2001 or 2002 etc. Would a 2001 work on my truck or should I strictly stay with my year? Thanks ~~~ Cliff

Rocky, james weaver has one in sale in the TDR Classifeds, I would jump on it.

I've dealt with james in the past. DO IT!

I fried an EZ once. See if you can try it out first to make sure it works. They can be hooked up in a matter of minutes.

Oh, and DO NOT LET IT CONTACT THE + POSITIVE BATTERY TERMINAL!!!!

Go for it

I have bought all my performance upgrades used, except for Injectors. Makes it very cost effective to move up the HP ladder:D

Rocky, I just bought one used and got burnt, tried it out and didn't work. Fortunately, I sent it back to EDGE, and they are supposed to check it out, possibly send me another one. I have heard that they have great customer service. Don

No, the 2001 and 2002 EZ's are not directly interchangeable. The MAP sensor connector design was changed on the 2002, so an EZ for a 2001 requires 2 adapter pigtails (available from Edge) in order to hook up to the 2002 MAP sensor connectors.
