Is there a Great Lakes chapter

Hi. I've been a member for at least 10 years and bought a '97 truck about 2 years ago. I've been battling a frustrating engine problem ever since and just can't figure it out. I recall there being a Great Lakes chapter, but I don't see a listing online or in the magazine for it. I think I need to talk with some real experts and meet up with them in person. If anyone knows of a P-pump 12-valve expert in the MI area (Detroit), I'd love to chat with them. I'm to the point that I don't even want to drive my truck any more.

Not that I'm aware of any more. There was a very active chapter at one time but it's died on the vine. I'll send you a pm of someone down in the area that may be able to help you out.

Steve what happened to the GL chapter? I have been in the south too long? We a getting to start heading back north next year and I was looking to see who was still around.

I would think sheid diesel could help. I know they are a long way but maybe talk you through on the phone?
Blue chip helped me that way on my 2001. I don't how they are on p pumps..
