Great day for riding

i'm looking for a part for a HOMELITE 360 chainsaw that has been discontinued. i was told it will only be found on someones shelf that either sells HOMELITE or services them.

the part is a rubber boot that goes between the carb and cylinder head. it is called a carburator connector. i dont have a part number but the saws UT number is 10610, which is needed for looking up parts.

thanks

Have you tried calling ....

The Homelite Service Center?

If the local dealer does not have the part, you may order from the Homelite parts center at 1-800-444-0732. By calling this number, a Homelite part is shipped directly to your home or business. (Shipping and handling charges will be incurred. )

Another option would be to use the dealer locator and pull a list from surrounding states.

I called the saw place here, no dice, he said they'd have to order and I told him (according to you) they were discontinued. good luck, Tim

BV,, i called the parts center today and they confirmed it is a discontinued part. they did forward me to a obsolete parts dealer in calif. and he says he gets several calls a week asking for the same part but none to be found.

tpcdrafting,,thanks for trying.

i did get a part# though( 12048C ).

You have any luck finding that part yet? I have a couple of Homelite center round here I can check for you if still needed... Steve

Ok. . what I have found. .

I have called every chain saw repair within 50 mile radius [8 of them] and the last one gave me some good info for ya

BTW no luck on the part :(

anyway the 360 and 350 automatic saws use the same part and the part #'s are different... . another thing you might look for is a part called Intake Block Boot Assembly [not much $$ but has the boot in with it] again it might be a different part # for the two saws.

sorry I can't help ya out.

thanks willyslover,,i'll try looking using the info you found.

i have called places from maryland to california and still no luck:(
