Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Is there any sort of warranty on a FP isolator?

I swear, I heard a pop the other day and my FP gauge went crazy. I refilled it with more antifreeze but it still doesnt want to act right. I've only had it 3 months
 
I'm not sure about any implied warranty, but most vendors would probably be willing to work with you. I've never had a problem with my isolator, but apparently problems are fairly common, so I'd just call your vendor and see what they say.



Where did you get the gauge?
 
All you can do is call and ask. I know several people that have had isolators replaced by their vendor. I'm not sure what the details were about a warranty. I think many just do it in good faith.
 
If you didnt have a snubber, you should put one on. I use a porus disc snubber and get a nice smooth pressure rise into the isolator.
