Working for DC for the last few months I have come to the conclusion that this 5 star thing is a bunch of B. S. What really gets me is bribing the customers for a "perfect survey" Giving them oil changes, tanks of fuel, tire rotations ect... . This is giving DC themselves a false impression on how things "REALLY" are with their products. This happens with all makes not just DC. I have worked for GM as well and they are doing it too. They decline repairs and blame them on mods (that probably did not cause the problem anyway) to keep their warranty #'s down. I have even had (am dealing with right now) my service director decline warranty repairs because another dodge dealer did not set up the rear diff correctly. She has 2100 miles, 2 1/2 months of driving on a complete NEW rear end housing and all and it is making noise. I talked to the director and he does not want to touch it because the dealership that did it have a bunch of "hacks". The parts are within 12 months, 12000 miles and she is mad. I don't blame her. Anyway enough of me ranting, I just wanted to give my . 02 on the PHONY 5 STAR PROGRAM
