How did you hear about TDR

Future ..... Just as NUTZ as now

I have had a bunch of experience with the Thiokol Imps, a smaller version of the Sprite. They can be a handful to keep running or they can be easy. I would want to know if it had been used recently or had alot of sit time on it (not good). The clutches in the transaxle can be trouble some if not run regularly. The engine and transmission are very little different if at all from their automotive counter-parts. The tracks are subject to sun rot and can be a real P. I. T. A to repair in the snow. Basically the Sprite was a good and capable machine. They are not fast but will get you there!

I didn't address your question. Yes the 300 c. i. d Ford is a staraight six. In my opinion one of the best engines Ford ever built. If I had to go out in the desert for two years with a Ford engine my first choice would be a 300 six, hands down.
